Yay! It's finally half term. I just went out to danson park and took an entire films worth of photos with my dad's camera with the changable lenses ^^ gonna get it developed on monday... I'm also gonna upload some photos from the last film I used up onto here between now and then. Anyway, here's a list of things I don't like about certain lenses

Fisheye (adaptor)
Has to go on the end of another lens
You've got to walk MILES to get unwanted elements out of shot
It's just not entirely convenient, no matter how pretty the result...

Wide angle
Needs some crazy metal ring on the base so you can actually attach it to the camera, and it's just generally not nice to put on
Seems to make everything much darker

Massive lens (possibly a macro lens? I dunno. I'm a photography geek, not a camera geek)
IT'S HEAVY
The focusing seems to be reversed compared to other lenses...

Anyway, I played around a bit with depth of field and stuff as well. I also got some nice reflections off the lake of the sun, but if the photos are over exposed cos of it, SOMEONE WILL BE HURT D=<

School's going.... ugh. don't wanna talk about it. maths and physics are subjects i'm only doing cos I might want to do architecture. not because I particularly want to do them. Art's a little frustrating, because the teachers practically forced me to do landscape after I took some nice paintings home from the flatford mill trip. it's kinda fun, but I'd much rather have been allowed to do something where I could do people...

I'm working on a water colour thing atm, but it's bigger than A4, so whether I can scan it shall be seen.. I've also been making T-shirts for some peoples 18th birthdays, which is fun. it's basically just cartoons of them on white cotton t-shirts, but it's quite cool.

ALSO on the road safety ninja front: I'm going to try and finish setting up the test server over half term, so I can get the layout and everything set up then transfer it to the real website. this means that RSN may start before the end of the year
