I want to feel

Ok, this didn't win the last contest I entered it for, but I don't really care. There's another contest I think it's perfect for [link] by , also about emotions. Unlike the last contest this was entered for, it requires a description of the emotion it shows. It's quite a personal piece, but here goes:

The feeling I'm trying to express is quite complex.... I suffer from depression (on antidepressants now) and as well as making you feel depressed, it also leads to a massive lack of motivation to do ANYTHING, and often pure apathy, a complete lack of ability to feel. Sometimes when i got like that, I'd look at myself and just get so angry with myself for not being able to feel properly, which would lead to further depression. So as well as anger and depression, there's also a massive feeling of longing in here, along with a great big tangled ball of shame and self loathing.

i'm not sure how well it fits the brief. it makes me feel something definitely, but it's kinda a personal feeling so i'm not sure how people will react. anyway, this is how it turned out. the original concept was a lot less psychotic, and more depressing... although this one is meant to be sad in meaning, despite the art style. that actually came from remebering an artists style (but unfortunately not their name) and wanting to try something kinda like it, and this is how it ended up
