WAKE UP-lo res version by deadassassin WAKE UP-lo res version by deadassassin
So, I actually drew a comic. This is a veeeeeery lo res version just so you can read it online. The plan is to get it printed, either to use as a flyer at cons and things like that, or just as a cheap print.

I wanted to try something kinda experimental, but I think I went too far. It's not entirely clear how you're meant to read the comic (i.e. the same as a normal one, row by row) and it's all just a bit wierd. Oh well. Anyway, it's good to have it over with, because it's taken far, far longer than it should have because of never having enough free time (mostly thanks to exams). Oh well.

I hope you like it! Any criticism is appreciated, although as I said, I know the layout is pretty awful and it doesn't read that well. Still, don't hold back! (Well... hold back a bit)

i like the layout of it, you have to read behind the lines a bit. It's skethy (i love sketchy stuff...and experimental...this is great!) i love the day dreamyness of it...that's a word...and the internal voice. You could probably expound for hours on the human need for affection- or you can see it as the wonderfully simple and honest thing it is. Love it!

Aw thanks so much! I was worried it was a bit too wierd. Also, at one point, I didn't have all the 'wake up's in the bottom left, but then I added them to balance out the busy right hand side. Didn't realise till after doing it that it really helped explain what the hell was going on. Without them, it really would have been incomprehensible.

But yeah, depending on the amount of positive feedback, I might do a few more things like this. Thanks again!
